These days, you can get anything delivered to your home in a box, from food to beauty products, but I was still surprised to hear that you can get flowers delivered to your door through your letterbox. What are they, origami flowers? Bloom & Wild kindly sent me a box to try out. Here’s the verdict.
There’s an app for that. These days that can be said for pretty much anything. So how do you choose the best apps for you? I find that the best apps are the ones that people shout about – everyone loves a good recommendation. With this in mind, I thought I’d put together a list of my favourite apps – some for work and some for play. I hope you find one you like!
What is it?
Blloon is the new way to read on the go. Books are so last century. The eBook isn’t exactly a new concept but Blloon have a new take on it. Instead of buying books, you buy pages. Not pages of a specific book, just pages. Once you have topped up your account with pages, you can browse the selection of books and download anything that tickles your fancy. It is only once you’ve read 10% of the book that you are asked whether you want to continue reading and, if you do, the remaining pages of the book are subtracted from your page credits. Bloon is not only about offering an easy way to read, it is also all about helping users to discover new books. The team have curated some great Readlists so you can pick a book based on your mood, and after you have read a few books Blloon is able to offer recommendations based on your taste. Perfect!
