Every working girl needs a break. Sometimes working on a weekend is necessary – especially if you have a #sidehustle – but you must remember to get some R&R and also to have some fun! The Working Girl Weekend series is dedicated to all the fun you can have in London and beyond on those days when you decide to give yourself a proper break.
This one is a bit of a strange one as it doesn’t actually fall on a weekend…but if you have an unconvential work week, this is for you! The Festival at Cheltenham Racecourse runs from Wednesday 11th March to Friday 13th March and promises to be filled with drinking, eating, betting (if you’re brave enough) and general merriment! Ladies’ Day is on the Wednesday and to add a bit of colour to the festival, a special #ColourMeMarch competition is being held. To enter:
1. Wear something bright to Ladies’ Day
2. Take a picture of your bright outfit/accessories
4. Post on Twitter using #ColourMeMarch
5. Win awesome prizes (like a year’s free membership to Fitness First for two)!
Easy! You can be a winner without placing a single bet. Unfortunately, I do have a conventional work week so no colour for me…if I were going though, I had the perfect bright dress! Maybe next year.
The Fine Print
Tickets are available from only £22! Though do bear in mind that Cheltenham is not nearby – to get there will cost you about 2 and a half hours and £50 on the train. For more information, get in touch below.
With the sun threatening to make an appearance more and more each day, this could be a great start to the Spring and a nice day away from the office. Next year, I will do some forward planning to make sure I can attend!
